The Real Problem

You don't need another program.

You already train. You're consistent. You show up when it's cold, when it's early, when you don't feel like it. That's not the gap.

You've followed the online programs. You've paid for the PDF, the app, the "structured cycle." And somewhere in there you felt like a number — a file that never looked back at you.

The thing missing isn't workouts. It's someone who can see when to push, when to pull back, and what actually matters right now.

The demand is real. So is the cost of guessing alone.

The Structural Answer

A program is a file. A coach is a decision — made for you, at the right moment.

What a program does

Gives you the work.

  • Hands you workouts — the same ones as everyone else.
  • Can't see you struggle through a set.
  • Can't adjust when you hit a bad block.
  • Doesn't know your name, and never will.
What a coach does

Coaches the athlete.

  • Knows where you actually are — not where the spreadsheet assumes you are.
  • Tells you when to push and when to back off.
  • Navigates injury, work stress and missed sessions with you.
  • Holds the line when your motivation slips.

A program can't see
you struggle.
A coach can.

The real product isn't the file. It's experienced coaching, accountability, and the decision-making that turns a training block into progress.

How Starter Coaching Works

Transparent by design. Nothing hidden.

Here's exactly what you get and how it runs. No vague promises — this is the whole mechanism, laid out flat.

1

You follow our competitive CrossFit program.

Built around the CrossFit season — Open, Quarterfinals and beyond. Single- or double-session days so it fits your actual schedule, not the other way around.

2

Your data builds an evolving athlete avatar.

Your results, strengths, weaknesses and trends feed our athlete-profiling system. That evolving avatar sharpens the programming for the whole group over time.

3

Sign up for a comp, and training adjusts.

Put a competition on the calendar and your training gets shaped around its timing and demands where it genuinely matters.

Straight up: this is standardized programming, not individual programming. That is the point — you're buying the coach on top of it, not a bespoke spreadsheet.

Coaching In Action

What happens when real life interferes.

This is the difference between a subscription and a coaching relationship. Life gets in the way — here's how it gets handled.

Injury
mid-block

We reroute around it — keep training the parts that can train, protect what needs protecting, and build a return path instead of a full stop.

A work-stress
week

Missed sessions aren't a failure. We reprioritize the week so what you do complete still moves you forward.

A bad
performance

When a session shakes your confidence, I put it in context — what it means, what it doesn't, and what we do next.

A schedule
change

Shift to single or double sessions on the fly. The plan bends to your week, not the reverse.

A comp on
the calendar

We peak you into it — adjusting volume and intensity around the event's timing and demands.

Training beyond the box — the season, not just the session.

Who Barrias Is

Trust, not a résumé.

I've been coaching since I left high school. In 2013 I opened my first CrossFit affiliate, then more after it. CrossFit HQ recognized me for 10 years of service to the community.

I competed twice at CrossFit Regionals and once at Semifinals in the Masters division. Along the way I went outside the CrossFit ecosystem to study strength & conditioning deliberately — then brought it back in.

I'm 37, a husband and a father, still competing and still hitting PRs. I coach the way I train: honestly.

Straight Answers

The questions you're already asking. Answered plainly.

Q.Why pay $150 for standardized programming?

Because you're buying the coach, not the file. The programming is the vehicle. The coaching — the eyes, the adjustments, the accountability — is the thing you can't download.

Q.Why not a cheaper online program?

You've tried that. It can't coach you. It doesn't know you're hurt, tired, or crushing it — and it never will.

Q.Will this work around my schedule?

Single or double sessions — your call. The plan flexes to the week you actually have.

Q.What if I compete?

Put it on the calendar and your training adjusts around the comp's timing and demands.

Q.Do I actually get access to a coach?

Yes. That's the whole offer. Not a bot, not a form letter — a coach.

Q.Not elite yet?

This is built for Open- and Quarterfinal-level athletes who want to become substantially better. That's exactly who it's for.

30athletes. That's the cap.

The Cap Is The Proof

Starter Coaching is capped at 30 active athletes — on purpose.

At 50, 60, 100 athletes the coaching standard collapses. It stops being coaching and becomes another subscription. I'm not interested in doing that.

When it's full, it closes. When someone leaves, a spot opens. No fake countdowns, no "X spots left," no manufactured panic.

The cap isn't a marketing tactic. It's the evidence that the coaching is real.

The Close

You can find workouts anywhere. What's hard to find is someone you trust to coach you through the next several years of becoming a better athlete.
